Transportation in Cuba
The biggest problem you may encounter during your stay in Cuba is the transport. Indeed, the vast majority of Cubans do not own a vehicle and public transport is very little developed. To get from one province to another, things get complicated. Tourists have only one choice of buses, this is the Viazul, but this one rarely keeps its schedules! Apart from public transport, it is possible to travel with colective taxis, which are large American cars that can accommodate more passengers than a normal car and which connect between certain cities. Their price is competitive with Viazul and the advantage is that they collect the guests directly at their accommodation and leave them at the door of the next accommodation if they have reserved one.
We work with several drivers, so you can enjoy transport safely. Whether you want transportation on arrival at the airport or departing, a tour of Havana in an American car, a taxi service to visit the city, go out in the evening safely or reach other provinces in peace, we have what you need to!
Below is a list of prices to some provinces. It refers to collective taxis, that means you’ll share the vehicle with other people. In case you prefer a private transport, please contact us through the form in the contact tab, so that we can consult our partners and inform you about the prices.
The list below is not exhaustive, so if the city you want to go does not appear, do not hesitate to contact us and we will be happy to send you an offer.
